YEAR 2 HOME LEARNING
HOME LEARNING - SUMMER TERM
Hello Year 2!
This week's home learning activities are attached below and ready for you to get started on. Just as before, we recommend that you choose one activity for reading, writing and maths per day from the list provided and work on the creativity task throughout the week. This is just a suggestion and you might have other activities that you are working on too, which is fine.
Our new topic this half term is Admiral Lord Nelson and HMS Victory. We would love you to find out as much as you can about Lord Nelson and the Victory and present this in any way you like.
We would love to see what you have been up to and you can now do this by posting your work to Seesaw! Send us a photo, a video or a voice recording! You can also share your photos and videos via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get these uploaded to the school's Facebook page.
We have also added a new home learning pack for those children who are working towards age related standards. This pack contains lots of reading, writing and maths activities as well as lots of lovely topic based activities. This pack should contain enough activities to last for the term so won't be uploaded weekly. Please download it and print/use the pages you need.
We have also added some stories linked to special people in our lives and how we can take care of each other.
Click on the links below to get started on your weekly home learning.
As always, please contact your child's class teacher if you need any support with anything.
Take care, stay safe and keep smiling!
