Message from the teachers

Hello Year 4, we will put messages on here regularly to keep in touch.

Thursday 2nd April,

Good morning!

A few messages:

  • Mid-Year School reports are going to be emailed out to your parents/carers tomorrow, so ask them to keep an eye on their emails. If they do not receive it then please contact the school or your class teacher via email.
  • Also tomorrow, we will put up some suggested learning / activities for the next 2 weeks. Obviously, this would have been the Easter holidays, so the activities are fun to keep you all entertained!

Take care and stay safe

Good afternoon Year 4!

We just wanted to say we are really missing seeing you all but understand at this time we are all keeping safe at home. It was lovely to catch up with your parents (and some of you) over the phone last week. You are all doing so well with your home learning!

Here are some fun activities for you to try whilst at home:

  • The Alphabet Challenge (search around your home looking for things that begin with all the different letters of the alphabet).
  • Collage  (using old magazines, comics, newspapers to create a picture).
  • Build a well-known landmarks out of boxes and other things that are normally recycled.
  • Make up a dance routine to your favourite song.

Take care & stay safe

Hello Year 4!

We hope you are all keeping well and working hard at home. We have seen some fantastic photos on the school Facebook page of children from across the school completing home learning.

There are plenty of activities to access via the school website and lots of fabulous resources online to keep your busy! Also, remember building LEGO, completing puzzles, playing games are also great ways of learning.

Take care

Mrs Armstrong, Mrs Weekes, Mrs McGuire and Miss McLaughlin
