Make a Difference…..Be Outstanding
Full Time Salary: MPR £22,971 - £33,824 per annum
Located in the heart of Portsmouth, Arundel Court Primary is a values-led, fully inclusive Academy, proud of its caring and hardworking ethos. The academy is a vibrant, happy and positive place to come and work.
"Every day as a teacher presents its challenges - the good, the bad and the ugly! Working with children and other passionate staff to overcome these challenges is what makes teaching such a rewarding career. No two days are alike and you often have to roll with the punches but watching children develop and master new skills, knowing that you guided them and gave them the self-confidence they needed to achieve, is truly inspiring. I am inspired by children every day and every day, I leave my job brimming with pride for the achievements they have made."
Year 3 teacher, Feb 2018.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher who is able to sign up to the academy values and be highly motivated, creative and positive.
Exciting times lie ahead for Arundel Court Primary Academy as we await the successful completion of a brand new school, hopefully ready to be opened in September 2019.
We believe that success here is built on trust, strong relationships and teamwork. If you have demonstrated good to outstanding classroom practice, we would like to hear from you and we also welcome applications from NQTs, who will be fully supported and mentored in their NQT year. We are a forward thinking and reflective school who continually strive to improve practice, through quality professional development and developing opportunities for career progression.
We are looking for new colleagues to join us, a strong and confident teacher and an enthusiastic team player. The successful candidate will be a confident and competent classroom practitioner with high expectations of children´s academic, personal and social achievement. Experience in the lower primary years would be desirable but not essential.
They will also be skilled in creating a stimulating and purposeful learning environment and having excellent interpersonal skills and committed to working within a wide range of supportive teams. They will be enthusiastic and willing to contribute to the wider aspects of school life and be committed to working in partnership with parents/carers, governors and the local community to secure the best possible learning and teaching for all.
We welcome applications from teachers at all stages of their career, including NQTs.
In return, you will be part of the University of Chichester Academy Trust, bringing you added benefits and opportunities, for example specialised professional development from practitioners through cutting edge research. You will find that each of our Academies has a unique identity, but a shared belief in creating a positive and enriching environment, where all staff feel valued.
